Last night we had to chuckle over the many funny things we have seen throughout the week of the auction. I starting writing down our "Best of Our Rally" list....
Favorite email address (see how they fit with what they were bidding on):
#1 Fabiopants bidding on the French Lessons (will you be my friend Fabio??)
#2 Omchacha bidding on the pony rides
#3 Theoscarqueen bidding on some sparkly jewelry
#4 Fitmama bidding on muffins when -one would think- she would be bidding on the Rock Climbing
Comments that gave us quite the laugh:
#1 "I like pies that sparkle" --the Buhlers
#2 "Who's Pete and does he have anything I can bid on" ---by Marianne
#3 "I need a sketch of myself for my office" --- Claude
#4 "Depending on what time ... Grandma Honey is in for $15.00" - Toni
Favorite Warm Fuzzies:
#1 Fingernail painting by six year old Hannah
#2 people bidding from across the US - Virgina to California to Alaska......etc...
#3 Duo basketball skills lessons
#4 Lorna's pies that sparkle
#5 oh just too many to name......
(My personal favorite is my computer getting a virus at about 10:30 pm and Claude coming to my rescue I guess I should have went and bid on that COMPUTER REPAIR) THANKS CLAUDE!! You saved me!
The sneakiest bidders who came out of the wood work:
#1 Kathy Mabey swooping in at 11:47 pm and winning Lorna's pies
#2 Timfar2 winning several items at the last minute including the Fish Taco Fest
#3 Tian the book snatcher
#4 Sunfirerain and the fishing trip
The best out of town (AZ) RALLY goes to:
Jamie and her fabulous hair cut and color. Getting all of her clients to get on and bid! That was awesome!
The WORST speller and punctuation award goes to yours truly - (Jeannie)!! Any misspellings or grammatical errors were probably done by me and NOT Juli! (and just to type that sentence I had to fix about 4 misspelled words through spell check)
If you have a favorite funny you would like to share leave us a comment :)

Gethsemane
by James Christensen
Published from the artist's original work. Numbered Unlimited Edition.
All prints are on archival paper and signed by the artist and come with certificate of authenticity,
title plaque (if one was made), and packaging.
James Christensen is a friend of Rafe and his family. He has donated some of his favorite prints to add to the auction. Inspired by the world's myths, fables and tales of imagination, James C. Christensen wants his work to add up to more than a beautiful - if sometimes "curious" looking work of art. Having taught art professionally for over 20 years, he likes to think of the world as his classroom. His hope is that through whatever he creates, he can convey a message, inspiration or a simple laugh. He believes that teaching people to use their imagination helps us find solutions to sooth the stresses of everyday life-or get a little lift to help us keep going. In short: all things are possible when you share Christensen's philosophy that "Believing is Seeing."
