NOTE: The easiest way to search is to use the labels. When you get to the bottom of the page press OLDER POST so you don't miss auction items.

This is the last day of the auction. We are a little sad it's coming to an end. This has been a wonderful experience for all involved. The generosity of so many has touched us daily. Thank you so much for all the many donations and bids that have poured in. It has been a blessing to be a part of such great love and giving at this Christmas time. This will be one Christmas season our families will never forget!

The countdown begins...& some instructions!!

Auction time is almost here. NO sneak peaks but here is a list of instructions, tips for the beginner blogger, and information for those who will be participating.

1. Monday morning we will load the items onto the blog. You will see each "post" separated by a space. At the bottom of each post is number and then it will say COMMENTS. To make a bid (or a comment) you will want to push the word comment.
2. Then you will see a comment box appear. You will then type in your bid amount and your email address. You may remain anonymous but we will need your email address at some point if you win to coordinate payment and receiving your item. (if we can't connect after a day or so we will then go to the next highest bidder that we can contact to see if they want that item)
3. Directly under the comment box it will say COMMENT AS and give you a drop box with a list of options. If you are signed into a google account (then you will know what you are doing anyways), if you aren't then just press anonymous and when you make your bid leave a name (or code name) your current bid, and atleast leave your email address once.
4. You'll have to check back from time to time to see what the highest bid is on the items you are bidding on decide whether or not you would like to raise your bid.
5. It's actually lots of fun and "GAME ON" ---- let the bidding wars to begin!!
6. If you know someone who would like to bid and is computer and/or blogger illiterate give them a hand or a short lesson so they can enjoy it too!
7. We have labeled the items in different CATEGORIES so that hopefully they will be easy to access: example....WOMENS, MENS, CHILDREN, OUTDOORS, LOCAL ONLY, SERVICES, ACCESSORIES    etc......... .
----you will also be able to find items from looking at the BLOG ARCHIVE on the right. It will list all the posts there also.
8. If you have donated an item and see a problem or mistake with it please email us immediately and we will get it fixed asap! I would hate for someone to have to make a pie or shovel a walk if they didn't sign up to do so.
9. ONE TIP for when you are looking at an item - CLICK on the PHOTO to see it closer up. It will pop up in a new browser and you can get a better view.
10. Check back often we may still be loading new items for the first couple days.
11. ALL the PROCEEDS for this AUCTION will be donated to Rafe and his family! We want this to be a success and most importantly help ease some of the financial burden of hospitals bills and not being able to work.
